His books have documented business trends such as technology outsourcing, services globalization, and the use of content in marketing strategies. He was the first ever blogger appointed inside the UK parliament, he was an official London 2012 Olympic blogger, and he has advised the UN on using technology networks for development. Mark’s latest book is focused on the way that LinkedIn has reshaped organizational sales culture and he works on an ongoing basis with many global executives focused on the use of social tools - and innovative technologies - in their organization. Before his writing career he headed technology research at the Commonwealth Business Council and earlier was a global technology director for an investment bank. Mark lives in São Paulo, Brazil.
